It's never a bother to eat fruit. One of our favourite aspects of being human is being able to enjoy nature's sweetness.
However, just as we wouldn't walk out the front door nude, we don't have to restrict our fruit intake to what nature intended.
Would mankind be really human if we didn't find a way to dunk everything in chocolate, turn it into pizza, or stab it with a skewer? Obviously not.
We discovered ten fantastic ways to make your healthy fruit snacks even more... fruity.

1. Ice pops with chocolate and kiwi
You may take this surprise out of the bag and flip your snack time on its head on days when the strawberry/chocolate mix feels a touch overdone.
Although the recipe just asks for three ingredients (kiwi, dark chocolate, and coconut oil), we like to top ours with nuts or coconut flakes.
2. Fruit dipped in chocolate
Select your preferred fruits, dice them, and skewer them. Put them in the freezer for a few hours after dipping them in melted dark chocolate, and you've got yourself a chilly, sweet treat with no effort.
3. Strawberries toasted in vanilla
This is a fantastic Swiss army knife choice. If you get this correctly, you'll have ice cream, oatmeal, and yoghurt topping.
Roasting the strawberries brings out their taste and makes them pop — plus, it generates a rich syrup that adds a little more zhuzh to whatever they're on top of.
Roasting your strawbs is definitely something you've never tried before, but give it a go. It's an excellent method to enhance their already delicious flavour without adding sugar.
4. Sandwich with almond butter, banana, and strawberry chia jam
"We didn't go up to a well-known Greatist recipe compilation expecting to be pelted with sandwiches!"
We're well aware of the situation. But bear with us. This is a unique spin on PB&J that hits all the right notes.
If you add almond butter and homemade strawberry chia jam, you've got yourself a killer combo.
You may alternatively just add some sliced strawberries for a speedier preparation. The whole-grain bread and strawberries are high in heart-healthy fibre, while the almond butter and banana are high in protein and potassium.
With that potassium, how can you be upset with us?
5. Banana ice cream with just one ingredient
Ice cream doesn't have to be harmful if you use a broad definition of "ice cream."
Simply peel a few bananas, place them in the freezer, and let them for a few hours or until firm. Place the frozen 'nanas in a food processor bowl and pulse until smooth.
Finally, add your mix-ins of choice (if you like). Greatist favourites include dark chocolate chips, sliced strawberries, and a peanut butter swirl.
6. Smoothie with papaya
Eat your heart out, Idina Menzel: this fruit, vegetable, ice, and chia smoothie is pure frozen bliss.
It contains a lot of papaya, a tropical fruit with a lot of taste and fibre. Papaya also has a low sugar content when compared to other fruits, with just 11.3 grammes per cup.
7. Fruit spring rolls in the summer
These aren't the tastes you'd expect from spring rolls. Who knew they could have such a delicious taste?
For a simple, somewhat sweet (and incredibly fun) snack, fill traditional rice wrappers with fresh fruit in this imaginative variation on the sushi restaurant staple.
8. Bruschetta with strawberries and Nutella
It's a satisfyingly rhymed dish that tastes even better than it sounds.
The combination of strawberries and Nutella is a classic. For a fiber-rich, hearty snack, just add a piece of toasted whole-grain bread. For an extra taste boost, add some chia seeds, honey, or coconut flakes on the top!
9. Ice pops with lemon raspberry cheesecake
Although the name "cheesecake" conjures up images of a sumptuous dessert, this dish has half the calories of a traditional cheesecake. Plus, since it can be held on a stick, it may already be better than the original.
The sweetened lemony Greek yoghurt combination that gives these pops a creamy texture is the "cheesecake" in this rendition.
10. Yogurt Bites (frozen)
This dish is a fantastic way to get creative with ingredients you most likely already have on hand.
Freeze some Greek yoghurt with granola, then top with whichever fruit you prefer. It'll make a lovely breakfast treat the following morning!
