It is going to be time for the celebrations to arrive at our doorstep. Indian festivities are not only about whitewashing, dressing up, and buying, but they are also about the cuisine that is served during them. Every festival has its own category of meals that are the day's specialty, and each festival has its own cuisine category. There are many upcoming festivals, such as Dusherra, which marks the beginning of the major Hindu festivals; Karwachauth, which results in a lot of shopping by the women's team; Diwali, which brings a variety of sweets and gujiyas; and Christmas, which brings mouth-watering cakes, particularly the Rum cake. Religions and holidays are like variables, but delicious food is like a constant in life. With so much good food available, it is really difficult to keep our hands off the food. The icing on the cake is the fact that we get to take vacation time during the festival. So, essentially, we have to get dressed up and eat for the whole day to get by.
Just eat when you're hungry, eat when your aunt comes over, eat when your friends come over, eat when your neighbour comes over, and just keep eating. The argument is that after consuming that much food, it is self-evident that we will acquire a significant amount of weight. Everyone realises how tough it may be to indulge without feeling guilty. We have, however, arrived to save the day. Following are a few guidelines that, if followed throughout this season, will most likely prevent you from having to go through mental anguish after weighing yourself. Say no to a food-induced hangover because you will handle it like a pro this time around!

Don't consume everything that is placed in front of you
Just because your mother prepared halwa, puri, butter chicken, biryani, and other dishes does not mean that you have to consume them all at once. Even if you prefer to have them rather than sit with visitors and eat, try eating a little quantity of each dish for the first time and then repeat the process with everyone. Consequently, one item at a time, and that too in modest quantities.
Walking is a must
Even if you are unable to attend the gym, make an effort to at least take a stroll outside. For 10 to 20 minutes in the morning or maybe in the evening. Exercise with your friends that are visiting, such as getting together early in the morning to do some easy workouts, is also an option. One advantage is that you will be able to spend quality time with them, and two, you will get in essential exercise as a result of this.
Don't let your family's plans be ruined
Make it obvious that you will not be able to adhere to your diet throughout the holiday season. A large meal once a day will not have a significant impact on your waistline. Don't overindulge, but do your best to keep your portions under control. I know it's difficult to resist the temptations, but at the very least try. If you acquire anything, you may lose it as well, but the times spent with your family will never be forgotten.
Booze and food go hand in hand
If you are ingesting alcohol on an empty stomach, my dear buddy, you are igniting the fire that is your stomach. This might be the most extreme adventure you've ever experienced. Don't go hungry before or after drinking; don't let yourself get dehydrated. If you go to bed on an empty stomach, it is probable that you could wake up with the worst hangover you have ever experienced. It is not a good idea to seek pleasure at the expense of your health.
You can eat everything you want
Controlling is a skill that must be learned and honed. When you attend a party or pay a visit to distant relatives, take part in a little survey. Accept the fact that you will not be able to consume everything in one sitting, and make your own choices. Check out the goods on this list that will please both your stomach and your heart at the same time. Choose a beverage that you like drinking. Don't simply gobble stuff down without thinking about it.
Take a break from work to satisfy your sweet desire
After you've finished your excellent meal, save room for dessert. It should be consumed within 20 minutes after finishing your meal. Take a little stroll, or maybe you can sway for a while to the music of the party. It will take some time for the meal that you just ate to digest, and your blood sugar levels will return to normal after that.
Detoxification is really important
The holiday season is jam-packed with rich and filling foods. So, in order to counteract the after-effects of the diet, consume foods that are beneficial to digestion. Make sure that you consume nutritious foods such as oats, fruits, and vegetables at least once a day to maintain your health. In order to avoid being unwell, I recommend that you consume foods that are high in nutritional value.
